A thorough examination and history will be completed at the first visit. The findings will be discussed with you before any treatment begins. This allows the doctor to get to the true root of your problem in order to achieve a better and more complete resolution. The treatments will vary depending on your individual case but will be sure to include an assortment of passive (pain reduction) and active (pain prevention) modalities. Initially the primary goal is to get you, the patient, out of pain and restore you to your normal level of function. Once this goal is met, the treatment switches focus to preventing future episodes and achieving self sufficiency at preventing pain without ongoing visits.
